Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions from small businesses and entrepreneurs about web design, bookkeeping and notary public services.

Web Design

How much does a website cost?

Every project is scoped to your goals, so pricing depends on the number of pages, features and level of custom design. After a short discovery call I will give you a clear, fixed quote before any work begins — no surprises.

How long does it take to build a website?

A typical small-business site takes two to four weeks from the time I have your content and images. Simpler one-page sites can be faster; larger sites with extra features take a little longer. I will share a timeline up front so you know what to expect.

Will my website work on phones and tablets?

Yes. Every site is fully responsive, so it looks and works well on phones, tablets and desktops. Most of your customers will find you on mobile, so that experience is a priority.

Do I need to write all the content myself?

You know your business best, but you are not on your own. I can help organize, edit and structure your text so it reads clearly and helps customers take action.

Can you update or maintain my site after launch?

Absolutely. I offer ongoing maintenance for content updates, technical checks, link testing and image changes, so your site stays current without you having to touch the code.

Bookkeeping

What bookkeeping support do you offer?

I help service-based businesses organize income, expenses and business records so your finances stay clear and tax-time ready. This is practical, day-to-day organization tailored to small operations.

I am just starting out — is bookkeeping worth it?

Yes. Setting up clean records early saves entrepreneurs time, stress and money later. Good habits from the start make growth, tax filing and decision-making far easier.

Are you a licensed accountant?

I provide bookkeeping and record-organization support, not accounting, tax filing or financial advice. For tax returns or formal financial statements I am happy to work alongside your accountant.

Notary Public

What notary public services do you provide?

I can witness signatures, take affidavits and statutory declarations, and certify true copies of documents — common needs for small businesses and entrepreneurs handling contracts, agreements and official paperwork.

What do I need to bring to a notary appointment?

Bring the unsigned document and valid government-issued photo ID. If others need to sign, they should attend with their own ID as well. Do not sign the document beforehand if a signature needs to be witnessed.

Can you give me legal advice on my documents?

A notary public verifies identity and witnesses signatures but does not provide legal advice. If you need guidance on the content or legal effect of a document, I will suggest you consult a lawyer.
